DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psycho-Circus the free kick. After 9 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Fința. Ryszard Borcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but 邓真义 made a huge save. When 武 杨广 came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Psycho-Circus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 武 杨广 couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, 武 杨广 made a precise shot to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 武 杨广's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Calamaro in the 30th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz got a free kick in the 38th minute. Psycho-Circus's 武 杨广 suffered a concussion in the 41st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. During the 41st minute of the match Maxim Fința completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maxim Fința a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Psycho-Circus's Gaston Cedro was substituted for 武 杨广. The supporters of Psycho-Circus booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Fința didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Foro in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Psycho-Circus were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Jaime Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓真义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Psycho-Circus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Cedro in the 81st minute of play. After 87 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Andres Calamaro. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Calamaro in the 90th minute of the match.
