Bayezit Settar made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Recep Tayyip Değirmencioğlu immediately put the ball in play. Bayhan Kutay came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Karlus Waugh. But to his dismay, Karlus Waugh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bayhan Kutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 31st minute of the match. Samsunspor's Bayhan Kutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Jarell Hill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bayhan Kutay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atabey Tükel in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Romon Oliver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bayhan Kutay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javan Develder made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Finlay Stair however managed to control. Bayhan Kutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayhan Kutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabey Tükel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Finlay Stair reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bayhan Kutay. The goal made the score 0-6. The throw-in from Javan Develder in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samsunspor's Tamer Mengüç. Bayhan Kutay was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Romon Oliver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romon Oliver really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabey Tükel in the 82nd minute of play. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Javan Develder with Finlay Stair as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Kutay having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Finlay Stair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayhan Kutay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Bayhan Kutay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Bayhan Kutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finlay Stair. Jamaica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
