Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jordi Leal got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Leal in the 17th minute of play. Jim Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by SpringPojkarnas BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SpringPojkarnas BK's Jim Lindberg did a great save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jim Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Leal in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi Leal in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jordi Leal sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Christian Jakobsson in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Despite this Jim Lindberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 39 minutes SpringPojkarnas BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Lindberg quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordi Leal got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 minutes, Stig-Arne Åman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SpringPojkarnas BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jim Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matīss Amatnieks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jim Lindberg. The goal made the score 2-1. The SpringPojkarnas BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
