Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PINGO PINGO. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dionisio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after PINGO PINGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. In the 38thth minute of the game Filip Josefsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Josefsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
