Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Mauricio Fonda came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the CA Boca Jrs MdP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Fonda couldn't finish the play. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Aureo in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Boca Jrs MdP the free kick. In the 21st minute, Roberto Aureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Isaias Gaitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Gaitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Jose Carita fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Jose Carita a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Gonzales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Alguacil ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, CA Boca Jrs MdP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Gartzea to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute of the match Mauricio Fonda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Gaitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Aureo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Panama got a corner. CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Panama's Miguel Miralles getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Gaitano in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Aureo in the 72nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Diego Cagna was substituted for Gogo Gartzea. After 74 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. In the 76th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Alejo Quentin was substituted for Marcelo Elequemedo. 83 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalkeeper Miguel Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano. But to his dismay, Isaias Gaitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Felipe Ros put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
