Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Geovanildo Luis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Geovanildo Luis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanildo Luis scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovanildo Luis took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Geovanildo Luis sent off a good shot on target. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Carballar in the 26 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Geovanildo Luis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Geovanildo Luis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Geovanildo Luis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 45th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovanildo Luis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanildo Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play. Ronaldinho Gaucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 69 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Navarro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Sungurhan Kuter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Abraão in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Horácio Abraão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 86 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haji Sarap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Drew Zaelani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tomás Reis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adhemar Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
