Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Hoffmann got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, GrosseLapingen's Mihai Stratulat got a free kick in the 5th minute. GrosseLapingen's Marian Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that GrosseLapingen's Marian Chilavert managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Juan Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Juan Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the GrosseLapingen defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Chilavert. The GrosseLapingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Chilavert should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Juan Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Piczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Anastasios Tragas from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Marian Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of the match. Stanislaw Lamczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasios Tragas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Chilavert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Piczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Chilavert having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Hoffmann in the 82nd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Chilavert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd match minute, GrosseLapingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Stratulat to maneuver through the defense.
