Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nobels IF's Dorival Guimarães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arvin Skager showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvin Skager. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arvin Skager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvin Skager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Nobels IF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Bergstedt. Dorival Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival Guimarães. Nobels IF's Arvin Skager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nobels IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Nobels IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Nobels IF's Arvin Skager managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinedine Pogba in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Skager was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Dorival Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Arvin Skager made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Arvin Skager in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nobels IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arvin Skager in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nobels IF's Arvin Skager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Nobels IF from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinedine Pogba in the 80th minute of play. Result 1-3. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Nobels IF's Dorival Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
