Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pazura having to interfere. The shot was a little too simple and Miromir Pazura could save by the left post. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gumisie Rybnik's Ksawery Pilarczyk. But to his dismay, Ksawery Pilarczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miromir Pazura. The goal made the score 2-1. After 64 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miromir Pazura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miromir Pazura made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Miromir Pazura made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Miromir Pazura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobiasz Blicharz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Miromir Pazura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Gumisie Rybnik's Ksawery Pilarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miromir Pazura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
