João Severino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Severino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, João Severino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and João Severino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, João Severino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Marian Tuliszewski in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Bartolo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, João Severino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 74th minute Carlos Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Cesaro went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 80 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Bartolo Beliran managed to make a qualified save. MARTINETA's players were relieved. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bartolo Beliran made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lv Qiang Xiao who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on MARTINETA's corner Andrey Atamanenko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
