Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jenson Smith. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 8th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 13th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of the match. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 19th minute of play. Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Harrison in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenson Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriele Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Monty Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Menchu FC made a substitution. Arturo Roderigo replaced Peter Söderqwist. Menchu FC's Primitivo Rocendo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 65th minute of play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Jacob May was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 78th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Bradley in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Menchu FC's Armando Roland. 84 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Baker. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Camilo Salvidor in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA played a much better game than Menchu FC and deserved their victory. The Menchu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
