The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Beetje Moe Re-United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edwin Helwig came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 61st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Schophuis in the 67th minute of play. Edwin Helwig made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edwin Helwig, 1-7. Edwin Helwig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. When Martin Lambers fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beetje Moe Re-United's protests and gave Martin Lambers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Beetje Moe Re-United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lambers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-10. Edwin Helwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serge Schophuis during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Serge Schophuis hit a great ball. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Beetje Moe Re-United from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Helwig having to interfere. Daniel Zorita, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
