After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arif Ozan Sureha made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Ozan Sureha in the 53rd minute of the match. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Oséas Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Cerezuela in the 95th minute of play. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Jukatriz to leave the ground with a draw.
