The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bobby Vanooteghem was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Dare to dream again's Yu Feng Sang in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Vanooteghem having to interfere. A hard shot 19 in the game by Vernon Wilkinson from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Jermaine Collingwood got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Bobby Vanooteghem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 31st minute Camilo Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dare to dream again booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Yu Feng Sang put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 42 minutes into the match, Dare to dream again's Yu Feng Sang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Feng Sang in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dare to dream again the free kick. Vernon Wilkinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jermaine Collingwood came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Vernon Wilkinson sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Wilkinson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vernon Wilkinson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bobby Vanooteghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Dare to dream again's Vernon Wilkinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Feng Sang in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Dare to dream again's Vernon Wilkinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Vernon Wilkinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Vernon Wilkinson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vernon Wilkinson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Feng Sang in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dare to dream again's Eddy Boumans got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dare to dream again's Mikolaj Tomaszewski. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Tomaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 96th minute, Vernon Wilkinson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Dare to dream again walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
