Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Pacholewski got free with Dante Lacasa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Vollmar to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A hard shot 36 in the game by Adam Pacholewski from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Adam Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Newcastle United were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo Zonta went to the cornerflag to take it. 62 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Erland in the 66th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Adam Pacholewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
