Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Gabriel Mendes started the match with the kick off. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Mendes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Mendes got a free kick in the 6th minute. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Marinho having to interfere. A collision led to Real Brasil F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zé Paulo de Azevedo hit a great ball. The long shot by Jorge Lago in the 15th minute really tested Benito Sanz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 20 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sydney Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Real Brasil F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Rossi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Mendes in the 35th minute of play. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Brasil F.C. the free kick. Real Brasil F.C.'s Jonas Queirós was substituted for Sydney Rossi. In the 44th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a Real Brasil F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 56th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Marinho made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Alexander Carballo from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Nilton Marinho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 69 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Galvão came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rosado in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Luís Guilherme Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilton Marinho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Tiago Gabriel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Moruga was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Luís Guilherme Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Costa Rica echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Real Brasil F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
