The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Molander during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hooden Hotspurs BK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Valdemar Molander hit a great ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Emil Holmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Hernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Emil Holmgren put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 27th minute, Hooden Hotspurs BK's Emil Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Holmgren got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Roger Isaksson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Holmgren. The supporters of Hooden Hotspurs BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Holmgren to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Hernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arman Hernström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emil Holmgren scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Emil Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hooden Hotspurs BK's Emil Holmgren in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Holmgren in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Emil Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Emil Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hooden Hotspurs BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Emil Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Emil Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Adam Vesterberg notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hooden Hotspurs BK fully deserved thier win.
