Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo made the kick off and thus started the match. Pancracio Paniagua came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancracio Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pancracio Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of the match. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Clarke Brooks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. The supporters of Peru booed when POPULAR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Clarke Brooks sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Victorio Pabla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Victorio Pabla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Pancracio Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. After 48 minutes POPULAR F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clarke Brooks made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play forced POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Eusebiu Gârbovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Moises Gayoso made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luz Tejedor immediately put the ball in play. With his leg Pancracio Paniagua managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When POPULAR F.C's Gilson Cordeiro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. POPULAR F.C's Denílson Prado was substituted for Maicon de Godoi. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mei Xun Jun was slow to take the kick. During this time POPULAR F.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on POPULAR F.C's corner Mei Xun Jun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Pancracio Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarke Brooks in the 82nd minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 90th minute, Mazinho Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Eliseo Mina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pancracio Paniagua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Pancracio Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. POPULAR F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
