The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Kornecki was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Vyacheslav Korolev came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Delphine Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vyacheslav Korolev couldn't finish the play. In the 19thth minute of the game Liviu Gogu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Gogu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Thiago Pliego 24 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Kornecki having to make a save. Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Gogu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Liviu Gogu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. The throw-in from Adrian Duldurescu in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of the match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball. In the 49th minute Vyacheslav Korolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Gogu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vyacheslav Korolev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Gogu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Fabian Kornecki made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Gogu in the 66th minute of play. Fabian Kornecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Kornecki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Fabian Kornecki made a huge save. In the 98th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Delphine Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki did a great save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
