In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Örjan Björk went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Örjan Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Stig Bäckman in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Joaquin Prats. Wiktor Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Biörling to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Örjan Björk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonas Lundin hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Ekström having to make a save. With a little luck, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
