Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Artemio Haritzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ioan Voicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 6th minute. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Club Atlético Temperley's Joel Pitin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Temperley defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ioan Voicu. The Club Atlético Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Voicu should have stopped the shot. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Ioan Voicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Ioan Voicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Gaston Laurendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Correia in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 48 minutes Club Atlético Temperley's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cristiano Correia made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Ioan Voicu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Pitin made a great header on Club Atlético Temperley's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Orlando Cordarell's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Cordarell helped the player get up and apologised. Orlando Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Club Atlético Temperley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu did a great save. Marco Villerias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ioan Voicu made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Voicu having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ioan Voicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ioan Voicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Lopez came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Club Atlético Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Lopez.
