After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Blas Beila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Pablo Innocenzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Pettinelli in the 14th minute of play. Marciano Pettinelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Marciano Pettinelli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Gladiadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Blas Beila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 4-0. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Gladiadores's Blas Beila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marciano Pettinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Marciano Pettinelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. If Marciano Pettinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gladiadores's Marciano Pettinelli in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Gladiadores were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Pettinelli took the corner. Gladiadores's Marciano Pettinelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albino Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albino Belo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gladiadores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Belo couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Albino Belo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Belo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 95th minute Albino Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gladiadores had played much better football throughout.
