But to his dismay, Dave Mancinelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sébastien Frey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute of the match, Cristian Ieltxu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Greid Tinsmith was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner ended in Pier Kopacz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey did a great save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Doffes Damer's goalie and right to Romulo Estebano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Doffes Damer's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, TORQUE F.C.'s Ermegildo Errolan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Klawki in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Cristi came free, but Sébastien Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Klawki in the 44th minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Doffes Damer's Ronaldo Cristi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sébastien Frey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Klawki in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Mancinelli in the 56th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey got control of the ball when Knut Utfal tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Braa couldn't finish the play. Inge Braa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sébastien Frey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Braa ran back to his position shaking his head. Sébastien Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Braa in the 85th minute. Inge Braa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sébastien Frey having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inge Braa got free with Sébastien Frey in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Dominik Klawki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TORQUE F.C. made a substitution. Igor Abancens replaced Dominik Klawki. In the 97th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Gniech to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Doffes Damer eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
