The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 10 minutes on the clock, Dylan Sarmiento commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mustafa Birol Birge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Birol Birge in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağız Bakanay in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to AN&KARASİPAHİLER getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Derman Talayman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mücahit Arslangiray in the 25th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Yağız Bakanay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, AN&KARASİPAHİLER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Vefalı to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bumin Erçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yağız Bakanay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After a rather tough play, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Derman Talayman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Fikret Tur in the 38th minute. Ahmet Fikret Tur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Panama's Miguel Miralles got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağız Bakanay in the 63rd minute of play. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bumin Erçin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Nusret Timuroz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes AN&KARASİPAHİLER got a freekick which was hit by Berkant Başkaynak. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, AN&KARASİPAHİLER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Vefalı to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80th play minutes Tomas Berganza shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bumin Erçin and just under the crossbar into goal. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bumin Erçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, AN&KARASİPAHİLER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mücahit Arslangiray to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bumin Erçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 87th minute. Mücahit Arslangiray hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
