In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurand Cempa in the 14th minute. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Jurand Cempa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zacisze Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Cempa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Zárate's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Zárate in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa got a free kick in the 24th minute. Miroslaw Gollob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Zacisze Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Firme to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Margiris Nekrošius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zacisze Częstochowa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! After 44 played minutes Zacisze Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Zárate. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Zárate was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 58 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Miroslaw Gollob managed to make a qualified save. Zacisze Częstochowa's players were relieved. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Zacisze Częstochowa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Margiris Nekrošius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslaw Gollob was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. With a little luck, Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Jurand Cempa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Gollob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
