Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sedef Mehmet in the 5th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prasadha having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertha Prasadha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertha Prasadha. Bertha Prasadha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gala's goalkeeper Bertha Prasadha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bertha Prasadha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertha Prasadha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cristian Sancho sped through Gala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertha Prasadha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Gala's goalkeeper Bertha Prasadha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gala's Bertha Prasadha did a great save. After having played for 40 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gala's Bertha Prasadha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertha Prasadha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sedef Mehmet was the one to do the kick off. Bertha Prasadha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prasadha having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Gala got a freekick which was hit by Hanif Subarkah. 73 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bertha Prasadha having to interfere. Bertha Prasadha was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanif Subarkah to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Aldri Wenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertha Prasadha made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The Gala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
