Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 11th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Oskar Walroth in the 13th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Indiano during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lukács Bánhegyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukács Bánhegyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Santino Seco took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukács Bánhegyi. Lukács Bánhegyi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Per-Oskar Walroth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 26th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Edmund Eliasson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ernesto Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukács Bánhegyi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto Belarmo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per-Oskar Walroth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungarian Olympic fully deserved thier win.
