Elpidio Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Adam Kiepski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Kiepski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Quien Te iba a Decir..... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adam Kiepski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Ursino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Adam Kiepski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 54th minute of the match. Jonatan Malvin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Malvin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Jonatan Malvin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Kiepski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Elpidio Ursino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Israel Shantala fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s protests and gave Israel Shantala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Israel Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Adam Kiepski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of play forced Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Adam Kiepski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 81st match minute, Quien Te iba a Decir..... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Shantala to maneuver through the defense. Adam Kiepski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Ursino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes, Geronimo Ted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quien Te iba a Decir..... and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card.
