Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Furkan Erbay got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to the Red Devils getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jordão Sesimbra hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sören Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sören Glanselius. Sören Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Furkan Erbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Glanselius saved the Red Devils from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, the Red Devils's Furkan Erbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes the Red Devils's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Sören Glanselius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Glanselius saved the Red Devils from getting behind. Sören Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furkan Erbay in the 33rd minute of play. Sören Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Saelices in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Glanselius saved the Red Devils from getting behind. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Furkan Erbay in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Furkan Erbay. Sören Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 42nd minute of the match. Erhan Nurettin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erhan Nurettin helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes the Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Nurettin. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye the Red Devils's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. the Red Devils's Sören Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save the Red Devils from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Sören Glanselius made a huge save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Selahaddin Yeler was slow to take the kick. During this time the Red Devils's players had a chance to rest. The corner led the Red Devils's Selahaddin Yeler to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Selahaddin Yeler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sören Glanselius made a huge save. In the 60th minute Asrın Acunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Sören Glanselius managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Özer Üngörmüş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a little luck, the Red Devils's Sören Glanselius got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Furkan Erbay sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Furkan Erbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Sören Glanselius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furkan Erbay in the 89th minute of play. Özer Üngörmüş hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
