Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ramon Menezes made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Sandberg saved Xv de Piracicaba from getting behind. In the 5th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th play minute Alfredo Rocchi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Xv de Piracicaba fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Xv de Piracicaba's Alfredo Rocchi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeronimo Txatxu took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ramon Menezes sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Ramon Menezes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alfredo Rocchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeronimo Txatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Txatxu slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 44th minute. A collision led to Xv de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Meng Jie Xing hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Min Son in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Alfredo Rocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Min Son got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was beautiful to see Venezuela's Joshua Secada in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sebastian Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Ramon Menezes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sebastian Sandberg in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ander Uibomäe charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ander Uibomäe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Ander Uibomäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
