Aurel Crivoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Offendahl. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurel Crivoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurel Crivoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurel Crivoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Paul Hermansson was substituted for Edwin Uter.
