Edgar Lang started the match with the kick off. Fedai Oktan might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedai Oktan ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Corcoran came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedai Oktan in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Sammy Corcoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Severo in the 20th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Helge Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BENA FK and the FC ARK CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Helge Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Lang in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute FC ARK CS were awarded a corner. Sammy Corcoran went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Júlio Severo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 25 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Francho. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC ARK CS from getting a goal against them. In the 30th match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Åström to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Ola Utter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC ARK CS's zone, Tommy Joensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Joey came out of the goal and Tommy Joensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of BENA FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC ARK CS:s goal. BENA FK:s Ronny Sundström showed great skill when he stopped Júlio Severo:s penalty. In the 45th minute, Fedai Oktan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Billock hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kant Spel to make the kick off. If Ola Utter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kant Spel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Charles got free with Ronny Sundström in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sammy Corcoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sammy Corcoran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ronny Sundström made a huge save. Kant Spel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nicolas Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Sammy Corcoran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronny Sundström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 88th match minute, FC ARK CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Sundström made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Júlio Severo sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kant Spel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Eddie Söder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
