Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar Lang made the kick off which started today's match. When Edgar Lang came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC ARK CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Lang couldn't finish the play. If Viorel Zgîrţa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Remus Marchiș made a huge save. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Bădescu in the 13th minute of play. Júlio Severo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Marchiș. Remus Marchiș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to minerul -MM- getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Costel Marghescu hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Edgar Lang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Lang in the 22nd minute of play. minerul -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Edgar Lang scored to the left of an out of position Remus Marchiș, making the score, 2-0. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Corcoran was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ARK CS's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, minerul -MM-'s Sandu Brânzaru got a free kick in the 44th minute. Noel Elvins charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Elvins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Noel Elvins hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Viorel Zgîrţa made the kick off in the second half. minerul -MM-'s Claudiu Bădescu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Lang came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Marchiș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Severo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When FC ARK CS's Júlio Severo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye minerul -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Leontin Cartiș kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Corcoran in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Marchiș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Edgar Lang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Marchiș was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The supporters of FC ARK CS booed when minerul -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Bădescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Charles in the 71st minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Barry Charles came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Corcoran in the 73rd minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Corcoran in the 74th minute of the match. After 76th play minutes Edgar Lang shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Remus Marchiș and just under the crossbar into goal. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Marchiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Remus Marchiș came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC ARK CS's Sammy Corcoran. But to his dismay, Sammy Corcoran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Lang came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Corcoran in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Sammy Corcoran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Marchiș was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Viorel Zgîrţa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. FC ARK CS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
