Kant Spel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Ola Utter. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rab Uba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kant Spel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner led to BENA FK's Tommy Joensson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 24th minute, Rab Uba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Canzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ronny Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Marrone in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Eddie Söder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrigo Marrone struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ronny Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Gordiani. Kant Spel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Casillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natã de Salles to make the kick off. Iker Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedai Oktan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Natã de Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronny Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natã de Salles hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, BENA FK's Kant Spel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Casillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Villa Gordiani's Rab Uba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Sundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kant Spel in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Kant Spel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Kant Spel got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BENA FK's zone, Fabrizio Canzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Sundström came out of the goal and Fabrizio Canzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save BENA FK from getting a goal against them. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kant Spel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arrigo Marrone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Ronny Sundström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Gordiani! In the 97th minute, Ola Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The BENA FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villa Gordiani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
