Franco Cacciatore's late challenge caught a Real Armal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Cacciatore helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Franco Cacciatore hit a great ball. Raúl Gasso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iker Casillas firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute Natã de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfrido Teruel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arrigo Marrone put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sigfrido Teruel. A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Raúl Gasso hit a great ball. Sigfrido Teruel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Canzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Casillas made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fernando Ballesteros sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Fabrizio Canzano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigfrido Teruel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sigfrido Teruel came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Gordiani's Fabrizio Canzano. But to his dismay, Fabrizio Canzano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 32nd minute, Fabrizio Canzano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Gordiani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Rab Uba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigfrido Teruel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, Natã de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigfrido Teruel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 43 minutes into the match, Arrigo Marrone notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Real Armal F.C.'s Sigfrido Teruel. Sigfrido Teruel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natã de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Villa Gordiani were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Real Armal F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Esposito took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Franco Cacciatore managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Raúl Gasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natã de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfrido Teruel having to interfere. Real Armal F.C.'s Raúl Gasso got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Natã de Salles fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Natã de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigfrido Teruel. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigfrido Teruel should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Arrigo Marrone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sigfrido Teruel. The goal made the score 0-12. Angelo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Delgado got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Delgado. In the 94th minute of the match Ciro Esposito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigfrido Teruel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 95 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Gasso.
