With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinto Fonticoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The wind increased when Lucrețiu Grigore made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC ARK CS's zone, Edson Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Joey came out of the goal and Edson Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Ribeiro in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sammy Corcoran notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Grêmio Prudente's Quinto Fonticoba. Quinto Fonticoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
