In the 13th minute Kärnan BK were awarded a corner. Bengt Alegren went to the cornerflag to take it. Björn Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Kärnan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kärnan BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bror Nordlander hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eddie Godholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kyriakos Matsikidis was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Eddie Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Godholm in the 28th minute of play. Roger Strömboms short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Kyriakos Matsikidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kyriakos Matsikidis stood somewhat misplaced when Eddie Godholm came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Kyriakos Matsikidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Strömbom in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Isidoros Papachristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bengt Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kärnan BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Alegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyriakos Matsikidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Strömbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Godholm in the 44th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Kyriakos Matsikidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 史景庭 made the kick off in the second half. 史景庭 hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Eddie Godholm struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kyriakos Matsikidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kärnan BK. 55 minutes into the game, 史景庭 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolopetinitsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kärnan BK the free kick. Roger Strömbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyriakos Matsikidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt Alegren was slow to take the kick. During this time Kärnan BK's players had a chance to rest. The referee showed Giannis Moutsios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Moutsios to maneuver through the defense. Kyriakos Matsikidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyriakos Matsikidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Strömbom in the 61st minute of the match. Kyriakos Matsikidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Strömbom's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Roger Strömbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kyriakos Matsikidis. Kolopetinitsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Strömbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Leandro Ricoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 史景庭, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The corner was taken by Bengt Alegren in the 92nd minute. Bengt Alegren made a great header on Kärnan BK's corner, it was just that Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Wennerberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Kyriakos Matsikidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Kärnan BK's Christoffer Brandin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kyriakos Matsikidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kärnan BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kolopetinitsa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
