In the 14th minute Fedai Oktan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinto Fonticoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Grigore in the 20th minute of play. Ronny Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Grigore in the 22nd minute of play. Quinto Fonticoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kant Spel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gomesano Gatica in the 25th minute. If Tommy Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Grigore in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Eddie Söder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Grêmio Prudente's Edson Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronny Sundström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grêmio Prudente reached it. Edson Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ronny Sundström made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the game, Gomesano Gatica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ronny Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edson Ribeiro took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Sundström. Ronny Sundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. BENA FK made a substitution. Zachary Anszczak replaced Bertil Jansson. BENA FK's Gustaf Sjögren was substituted for Ola Utter. Kant Spel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Quinto Fonticoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BENA FK. Kant Spel came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Quinto Fonticoba could save by the left post. Kant Spels short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Quinto Fonticoba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedai Oktan in the 87th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andy Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Prudente's protests and gave Andy Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Grêmio Prudente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Luan Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Quinto Fonticoba was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zachary Anszczak. Quinto Fonticoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Sjögren in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Sjögren to maneuver through the defense.
