Remus Marchiș came out of the goal and Sotos Pagitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes minerul -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Zgîrţa. In the 14th minute, Babbis Konstantinoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristi Eftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Matsikidis having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Konstantinos Kazantzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolopetinitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantinos Kazantzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristi Eftimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Eftimescu came free, but Kyriakos Matsikidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristi Eftimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyriakos Matsikidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Zgîrţa in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sotos Pagitis hit a great ball. Cristi Eftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Zgîrţa to strike the kick off in the second half. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Kazantzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Pagitis in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Cartiș during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Kyriakos Matsikidis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kyriakos Matsikidis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Viorel Zgîrţa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotos Pagitis in the 78th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sotos Pagitis during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
