An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Boström in the 8th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Edson Ribeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Per Stålman however easily saved by the left post. Grêmio Prudente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edson Ribeiro in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Grêmio Prudente's corner Mo Wei Xing fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Per Stålman quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Grigore notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tionde Kompaniet BK's Per Stålman. Per Stålman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quinto Fonticoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Boström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinto Fonticoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 石林朗 in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Lucrețiu Grigore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Jönsson came free, but Quinto Fonticoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinto Fonticoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sverker Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Per Stålman was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Ulrik Björkkvist fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tionde Kompaniet BK's protests and gave Ulrik Björkkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrik Björkkvist hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gomesano Gatica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Stålman having to interfere. Tionde Kompaniet BK's Per Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Ribeiro in the 88th minute of play. Gomesano Gatica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Grêmio Prudente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sverker Jönsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when Tionde Kompaniet BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
