Eugen Barbăroșies short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Quinto Fonticoba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Grêmio Prudente's Quinto Fonticoba got control of the ball when Björn Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 顾宇泉 came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Gräskungarnas FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 顾宇泉 couldn't finish the play. Mo Wei Xing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Friedrich having to interfere. In the 13th minute Lucrețiu Grigore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Friedrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Holm in the 15th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomesano Gatica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuno Friedrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Edson Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuno Friedrich. Thanks to some nice moves Edson Ribeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Kuno Friedrich however easily saved by the left post. Edson Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Kuno Friedrich made a huge save. 95 minutes in the game, Gomesano Gatica fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kuno Friedrich having to interfere. Kuno Friedrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomesano Gatica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Prudente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
