Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Godoi in the 10th minute of the match. Rolando Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Utter in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Leoiar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PGE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartolo Leoiar in the 15th minute. The corner led PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronny Sundström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedai Oktan came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 39 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddie Söder who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute Bartolo Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bartolo Leoiar made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes PGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Leoiar. The supporters of BENA FK booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Eddie Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BENA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Söder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kant Spel in the 55th minute of play. BENA FK's Fedai Oktan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Fedai Oktan. Gustaf Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Merexildo having to interfere. The supporters of BENA FK booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bartolo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kant Spel in the 83rd minute of the match. Rolando Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedai Oktan's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
