TAVIRA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Balboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in TAVIRA FC's zone, Gaston Cayuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Moura came out of the goal and Gaston Cayuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josepe Puyol got free with Álvaro Moura in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura got control of the ball when Gaston Cayuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute ALPUJARRAS LIBRE were awarded a corner. Lucas Cienfuegos went to the cornerflag to take it. When Koldo Companys fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's protests and gave Koldo Companys a yellow card for diving instead. Koldo Companys hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Cesário during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfonso Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's zone, Joaquim Macieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Rajoi came out of the goal and Joaquim Macieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ALPUJARRAS LIBRE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Koldo Companys hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Josepe Puyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Pascal Balboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 45th minute, Alfonso Frisco made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Rajoi. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.

After 58 minutes, Santiago Dellasierra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE and the TAVIRA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. TAVIRA FC's Adélio Ferreira was substituted for Joaquim Macieira. Adélio Ferreira hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Pascal Balboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 80th minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Lucas Cienfuegos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Cienfuegos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Cienfuegos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ALPUJARRAS LIBRE! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, TAVIRA FC's José Pedroso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rogelio Rajoi. During the 86th minute of the match Adélio Ferreira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adélio Ferreira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE booed when TAVIRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Sequeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that ALPUJARRAS LIBRE were the better team. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
