José Vítor Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Frisco in the 8th minute of play. Grêmio Prudente were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after TAVIRA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Mendes took the corner. Álvaro Travassos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 16th match minute, Grêmio Prudente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Luz to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Moura made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Arlindo Luz sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Arlindo Luz could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Álvaro Moura however easily saved by the left post. Josué Batista took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Moura. Álvaro Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Recife's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Moura was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Álvaro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Recife in the 28th minute of play. Álvaro Moura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Arlindo Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Moura. TAVIRA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arlindo Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Mendes came free, but Álvaro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Frisco to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Frisco got free with José Vítor Ramos in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Zé Peres fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Prudente's protests and gave Zé Peres a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Álvaro Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Álvaro Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zé Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Moura was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, TAVIRA FC's Antero Cardoso got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Cristiano Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Travassos in the 80th minute of play. Álvaro Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Arlindo Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Batista in the 83rd minute of play forced TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Cristiano Recife notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura. Álvaro Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 minutes of play, Grêmio Prudente's Andy Strömberg made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grêmio Prudente walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
