But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Leoiar couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Nicholas Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Rajoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Duarte got free with Rolando Merexildo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Merexildo stood somewhat misplaced when Herminio Abajas came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 24 minute. With his leg Rolando Merexildo managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Celedonio Duarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Bartolo Leoiar made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Rajoi. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 34 played minutes PGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gauargi. 35 minutes into the match, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Celedonio Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Duarte in the 41st minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Leoiar charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Leoiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Celedonio Duarte got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

52 minutes into the match, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's goalkeeper Rogelio Rajoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Odon. Virgilio Gauargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Rajoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Abajas in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Leoiar got free with Rogelio Rajoi in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Leoiar in the 75th minute of play forced ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's goalkeeper Rogelio Rajoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Rogelio Rajoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, PGE FC's Rogelio Rajoi threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Odon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! ALPUJARRAS LIBRE:s Rogelio Rajoi showed great skill when he stopped Gil Godoi:s penalty. 82 minutes into the match, Gil Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Rajoi. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Eliu Cabrera was substituted for Josepe Puyol. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Angelino Sabina was substituted for Tomi Abrego. After 87 minutes of play, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Herminio Abajas made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herminio Abajas scored 3-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaston Cayuela was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match was over PGE FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ALPUJARRAS LIBRE throughout the match.
