Francisco Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Eger came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's 韩默克. But to his dismay, 韩默克 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra do Interior's zone, Rafa Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Varela came out of the goal and Rafa Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 韩默克 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Francisco Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute 韩默克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Palestra do Interior's Evripidis Picoulas to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Eger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís França in the 26th minute of play. Francisco Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Barbosa came free, but Francisco Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Genílson Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFFLINE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. Genílson Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Evripidis Picoulas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Eger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Barbosa came free, but Francisco Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 韩默克, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, OFFLINE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Barbosa in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Romário Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Palestra do Interior were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Braga made a kick off. The audience was convinced that 韩默克's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Eger was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 韩默克 in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Eger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute of the match Palestra do Interior got a corner. OFFLINE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evripidis Picoulas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Palestra do Interior's corner Evripidis Picoulas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Eger quite easily take care of the ball. Francisco Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 韩默克 in the 58th minute of play. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Niclas Danielsson replaced 韩默克. Vitório Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Eger having to interfere. But to his dismay, Vitório Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.
