The OFFLINE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serginho Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Serginho Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Piearres went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Vitório Moreno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 20th playminute. OFFLINE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lisandro Piearres 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. In the 26th minute, Lisandro Piearres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lisandro Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Piearres might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Piearres ran back to his position shaking his head. Lisandro Piearres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Serginho Taffarel made a huge save. Lisandro Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Piearres in the 31st minute of play. Serginho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres. But to his dismay, Lisandro Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Marcelo Branco hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Vitório Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Lisandro Piearres notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel. Serginho Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes, Carlos Alberto Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OFFLINE and the Ekzema F.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, one of OFFLINE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Serginho Taffarel went to the wrong direction when Lisandro Piearres was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ekzema F.V. made a substitution. Luisinho Toscano replaced Vitório Moreno. Ekzema F.V.'s Timoteo Estevez was substituted for Lisandro Piearres. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The wind increased when Timoteo Estevez made the kick off in the second half. Apolo Enaut struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Serginho Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekzema F.V.. If Timoteo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind OFFLINE's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Estevez in the 77th minute of play forced OFFLINE's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Fernandes got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Benê Amorim. 81 minutes into the match, Timoteo Estevez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Taffarel. Timoteo Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ekzema F.V. had played much better football throughout.
