Caveira FC Rondoniense's Luizão Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Lago in the 22nd minute of play. Luizão Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Agustín Tastzian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. If Agustín Tastzian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patric Isaksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panait Dulca in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Luiz Paulo do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Isaksson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Vidal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armando Eliazar made the kick off in the second half. Patric Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
