Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Jonasson having to interfere. Sten Hydén struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gubbhöft. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Jonasson having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Salkvist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Isaac Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Jonasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Salkvist went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Veronica in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Salkvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Incendio was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Gubbhöft's players had a chance to rest. The corner led BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Sancho was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. After 56 minutes, Ove Salkvist made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Ove Salkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Fidel Veronica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. BK Gubbhöft's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
