Urban Alebäck hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a FC Töve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Töve's Henrik Alströmmer got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of play forced FC Töve's goalkeeper Åke Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Wallgren during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Åke Rudberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute Dan Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Töve getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Henrik Alströmmer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 65th minute. FC Töve's Åke Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Bryngelsson in the 74th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, FC Töve's goalkeeper Åke Rudberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Åke Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Töve.
